Pickleball guests can play on two full-size courts at Valley View RV Resort. The property is an RV resort in Layton, Utah, with full-hookup sites available for nightly, weekly, and monthly stays. Other amenities include a pool, hot tub, and clubhouse.
I stopped by Valley View RV Resort to check it out since I'm considering doing a longer-term stay starting this spring. First impression: this place is impressively well done.Huge shout-out to Berkely, who helped us while we were there. She was awesome: super approachable, helpful, and clearly someone who cares about the experience people have at the resort. She answered all of our questions and made the visit feel relaxed and welcoming instead of like we were interrupting someone’s day.The grounds are clean and thoughtfully laid out, and the indoor facilities feel first-rate. Everything looked well-maintained and intentionally designed, which isn’t always the case with RV parks. This one actually feels like a resort, not just a place to park your rig and hope for the best.I left thinking, “Yep… I could definitely stay here for a while.” If the rest of the experience is anything like our first visit, Valley View can be a great spot for an extended stay. Also, bonus points for a place that manages to feel organized and relaxed at the same time—no small feat in the RV world.
We did an overnighter here on the way home from our long summer trip and it was perfect. The grounds were clean and well kept. Sites were spacious. The amenities were wonderful. We used the swimming pool, sauna, playground and rec room with the pool table and ping pong table. There wasn’t any ping pong balls that weren’t cracked but after watching some other kids come in and run around it was obvious why they were. Some people don’t treat others stuff with respect as if it were theirs. We always try to, so not sure campground should be held responsible for that but was kind of a bummer. The pool table was damaged and not great for serious pool players but to teach our kids the concept, worked just fine. Our kids loved this place and have already asked to stay there again on a future trip and I definitely think we will.
This RV park was amazing! It definitely exceeded our expectations. My family was in town for a conference and we were blown away by all the amenities, the cleanliness, and the location. The kids got a big kick out of the morning and evening trumpet calls since we were right next to the Air Force base. The jets flying overhead were so fun to watch. We can’t wait to come back next year to stay during the conference again!
We stayed in a pull through site with a 40' fifth wheel. The site was long enough to unhook and park the truck easily in the same site. The grass was very well kept as well as the patio and picnic table. The restrooms, laundry (could have used a couple more washers but what was there worked well) and pool were all clean. The full hook ups all worked well. I just can't think of anything negative so I'll stop right here! We would highly recommend this Resort. It's also a great spot to wander from.
What a wonderful place! This RV resort is a gem. The sites are ridiculously clean, the quality of the hookups is outstanding (e.g., the septic connections are clean and functional and undamaged, the water is high flow, good pressure, solid valve mechanism, the electrical box is clean and functional and undamaged), the staff are very polite and helpful, etc.But the best part are the showers! They are very clean rooms, more than big enough, with plenty of flow, no strange temperature changes, and the room is well-heated which is much appreciated when it is cold and windy (which it often is in this location). My wife and son loved the showers also. The dog run is clean, well maintained, and they have plenty of bags available. My two medium dogs loved it.There is nothing they should change. This place is great!
