We had a very pleasant stay at this RV resort. The bathrooms were always clean, the pool was well maintained, and the laundry facilities were tidy and easy to use. Having one pickleball court on site was a nice bonus and added to the relaxed, social vibe. The park felt safe and well organized. Sites are located close to each other, which makes it easy to feel part of the community. Trash needs to be taken to the dumpster by guests, which was not a problem and helped keep the grounds clean.Overall, this is a well-kept, secure RV resort with good amenities. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a clean and comfortable place to park their RV.

Sun Retreats Fort Myers Beach is a well maintained campground with solid amenities, but it is definitely better suited for smaller rigs. We were lucky to be placed in the last row, and even then we only barely fit our 45 foot fifth wheel. Most of the interior streets are narrow, and I do not think we would have been able to make it work in many of the other sites. The campground itself is clean and clearly well cared for. The pool, hot tub, playground, and community center are all very nice. On busy or sunny days it can be tough to grab pool chairs, so timing helps. The workout facility is basic but functional, with a treadmill, bike, free weights, and balance balls. There is also a pool table and a game room available for guest use, which is a nice bonus. One big plus is the location. It is a very quick drive or bike ride over to Bunche Beach Preserve, which made it easy to get out and explore without dealing with a long commute. Overall, a good campground with strong amenities and a convenient location, just know that larger rigs will be tight and smaller setups will have a much easier time here.

This is an RV park. Fairly quite with respectful neighbors. The pool is nice and hot tube is Hot! There is laundry, showers, and club house on site with plenty of activities for everyone. There is a small play ground for the littles! This is not a Hotel¡¡¡

Will definitely make this a stopping place when we are in SWFL. The park was beautiful and well kept. Maybe the only negative for me was not a big Pickleball community. They only had 1 court. But everything else was great. We just stayed the one night but could have stayed many more. Close to the beach, coffee and convenience.

★★☆☆☆

I do not recommend going there with children—they should make the resort 55+, because we constantly felt like we were disturbing others. The children were riding their bikes on the street in our campground and playing outside like kids do, but some of the ladies were not happy about it. Even if an adult was always present outside near the trailer. We had asked the resort if we could keep our boat in the yard, and they said yes. Later on, we received a negative comment on our AIRBNB reservation saying that the boat was apparently taking up too much space (which was not the case), but we were never given any warning. We would have moved it if we had known. Our rear neighbor came and stole our outdoor garbage bin and was acting strangely, then filed a complaint claiming that we were not picking up after our dog (which is completely untrue). Our dog always did its business at the dog park, and we always picked it up. In fact, at the dog park, many people don’t pick up after their dogs, and we even picked up waste that wasn’t ours to help keep the park clean.
