The Wicked Pickle – South Portland, MaineHad a great experience at The Wicked Pickle in South Portland. The pickleball courts are excellent — clean, well-maintained, and well-organized. The entire facility is bright, welcoming, and clearly run with care.I played here for the first time with a client, and it was an easy, enjoyable experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, making it a great place for both regular players and newcomers.Highly recommend if you’re looking for a clean, quality pickleball facility in Southern Maine.— Robert Thibodeau, Realtor®

Took a group to play a family holiday tournament. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Good set up, well lit, and nice courts. Hope to visit again next year!

This place is fantastic and authentic. The food is made from scratch and the cocktails are both original and perfect. There should be a huge sign over this facility saying the best bar food in Portland. And the Pickleball courts are wicked good too come try it out.

Absolutely awesome facility! The courts and nets are great, the staff is fantastic, and the clientele is excellent. The sandwiches are AMAZING! I recently went to a new facility in Cliffwood, NJ, called Pickleball Headquarters, and I was disappointed. The lighting there is terrible, the clientele was unfriendly and they do not following "open play" rules at all [They are all friends. They stay on a court after a game, and just swap themselves around instead of winners stay & split and 2 people waiting come in] I say this because it is the complete opposite experience at The Wicked Pickle. I have been there 4 times, and every time I go there to play, everyone is friendly, helpful and they are all good sports. I love that their open play is split up by abilities so you don't have a 2.5 playing against a 4.5. I love that they also have "intermediate" and "high intermediate" open play opportunities. I highly recommend The Wicked Pickle for a wicked lot of fun! ALSO, even if you don't play pickleball, go there for the GREAT sandwiches. They make their own pickles & chips.
