Parkpoint Health Club Santa Rosa is a full-service health club, locally owned and operating since 1983 with sister locations in Sonoma and Healdsburg. The Santa Rosa location runs 3 outdoor pickleball courts alongside 4 indoor racquetball/handball/wallyball courts — more court sports capacity than any other club in Sonoma County, per the club’s own claim — plus a pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, and full group fitness schedule (Zumba, Pilates, water aerobics, cycling, yoga). Members reserve pickleball or racquetball courts up to 72 hours ahead online or by phone, one court per day; loaner paddles and balls are available at the front desk. Non-members can drop in for a $20 day-use fee. It holds a 4.5 rating across 151 Google reviews.
After trying other gyms and leaving because of the lack of customer service, joining Parkpoint Health Club really reminded me that you truly get what you pay for. Yes, it costs more than some other gyms, but in my opinion the value is absolutely there. The difference shows not just in the facility itself, but in the overall experience. The customer service here has been a huge reason I appreciate this place. It feels like they actually care about their members, and that makes a big difference. The atmosphere is welcoming, professional, and far better than what I experienced at other gyms.Another big plus is the equipment. The machines and workout areas feel newer, well-maintained, and high quality, which makes workouts smoother and more enjoyable. Everything feels cleaner, more organized, and more put together than a lot of other places. If you are tired of gyms that are cheaper but fall short on service and overall experience, Parkpoint is worth the extra money. For me, it has been a much better fit and a much better overall gym experience.
The gym has a solid range of equipment and plenty of classes to choose from, which I really enjoy. However, sometimes it can get pretty crowded during peak hours, making it hard to find an open machine. Overall, it's a decent place to work out, but a bit more space would be nice.
This health club is your ticket to a time machine!! A trip to memory lane on 1980’s decor, faded linoleum and dated amenities. The facilities perhaps were state of the art 30 years ago but today is in desperate need of renovation. The exercise room is cramped with old machines and a musty smell. The men’s locker room stinks of athlete’s foot and sweat; the 3 shower stalls have the shower heads in a corner preventing you from getting water evenly and all stalls share 1 drain so you need high heels in order to avoid getting everyone’s soap scum on your feet. The jacuzzi is old and filthy; the sauna is minuscule and can only accommodate 3 people comfortably. The provided towels use to be white back in the nineties. There is only a small pool next to the back parking lot that is always unavailable through reservations. Overall a mediocre club that is not worth the high monthly fee; I personally prefer to drive all the way to Petaluma and enjoy a fantastic club at Active Wellness. I wish Santa Rosa had a modern, clean full service health club. Sorry Parkpoint your time was up a long time ago.
I had like 4 free sessions(its a lil hard for us to meet a person to sign us up for the gym membership but we finaly got it lol) and i love this gym, everyone is so nice and awesome and helpful, the changing rooms are clean, they got this cute fun bingo card event going on which is a great incentive for people to keep going to try to win things, all the machines can handle my fat body , love the fact theres a lil water refill stations , everything looks so clean and lovely, im so excited to get the ap so i can start booking pool sessions to help with my painful knees. pretty proud after the 4 sessions ive already lost 6 lbs so im pretty happy! every sessions i tell myself ill be there for only an hour, but i always end up doing 2 hours cause im always having fun!
Been a member here as long as they've been open. I love this place. The racquet ball court is sure to impress. Very clean and friendly. Nice lanes pool.thanks Sonoma County!
