Highlands Sports Complex provided an outstanding birthday party experience for my daughter. The kids loved the climbing activities and arcade, and the unlimited food and drink options were a great value. The staff handled all setup and cleanup, were incredibly friendly, and ensured everything went smoothly. The modern, clean facility made it even better. Highly recommend for stress-free and fun celebrations or everyday fun!
I held my daughter's 7th birthday here with the rockwall and arcade package. The included food was pretty decent, and the kids loved the rockwall. My only problem comes from the communication and arcade. If you pay the extra for arcade cards, beware. I was told by staff that the birthday kid's 3 hour card could be paused, and resumed, anytime after the first game swipe. Turns out that was a lie, according to the general manager. We only had 30 minutes at the arcade before they told us they were closing. No reimbursement on the 2.5 wasted hours.
Absolutely love this sports complex & everything it offers & puts into the local community! It is always clean, the workers are friendly & knowledgeable, & the environment is always welcoming. I love the fact that they keep the prices decent so that everybody can enjoy their facility & reap the benefits of everything it has to offer! It's also the best place around for camps, clinics, summer leagues & other sport-specific related activities. We have gone to 2 softball clinics - one by MAAS Training & KP Fastpitch, another by Wheeling Rec League - in the past month & my 7-year-old daughter loved every second of it.We were here most recently for the PeGa camp - my daughter & her best friend did the cheer clinic, my nephews & their buddies did the football clinic - & it was super fun for them! They got to meet pro athletes, learn new things about the sports they love & even had an opportunity for photos/autographs at the end of the program. Plus, they handed out Chick-fil-A to-go boxes & swag bags! This is just one of the MANY camps & clinics offered throughout the summer from this sports complex. All in all, this is not just a sports complex! It's a place that is centered around the community as a whole that offers a variety of ways to keep your kids (& you!) entertained & on the move. It's a fun place to learn, grow & meet fellow athletes & coaches; where everybody is welcome & there are endless opportunities to better yourself as an athlete regardless of your age or level of play😊
First time visiting, we attended a large wrestling tournament. The facility itself was awesome. Huge field house, basketball courts, volleyball courts, etc. Facilities were nice, very clean, and will definitely attend future events there.
I am reviewing the food area here. Terrible! Overpriced, of course, but that's to be expected. The incompetent workers, especially the one I experienced at the order area are the reason "kid these days" get a bad name. He didnt take our order correctly, didnt known if they have pickles, didnt give us our drink and overall had no pride for his job not even a little bit. I told him our order was wrong and he insisted it was right, so I said ok as long as I get my food. Nope, of course that was a nother fight. Which i basically had to say, go talk to the guy that took the order, because I tried to correct him. Then, to get the food..crispy chicken sandwich so hard, it made it hard to eat and fries which were also hard and cold. I will be leaving the facility to eat in the future. So irritated.
