2 season ago and ago my dol 3 /gs got electrocuted because the contractor they hired wired the power pole wrong. Last season there were still issues with electric at the power pole. Last season the Park was infested with Palm Rats. And the park would not do anything about it. I had to get my own private company at an additional cost. The water at the park is on and off so you can't count on the. The park floods everytime we get a average rain. If I would have change lots even though I had been going there for years my lot rent would have had a major increase. The increase the lot rent and none of the amenities that were promised were done. The park is not maintained very well anymore. This is why I left the park. I do miss my friends there but I can still go over and see them. There corporate doesn't to do anything about. There park models are small and way over prices. And people that are trying to sell their unit are having a problem get them sold.I would not recommend going there because of the condition of the park and how it is maintained.Plus I additional to the park this season 2025 / 2026 has no pool, no club house and none of the amenities. Lot rents were increased and no discounts.
We are sending this formal complaint about our recent experience at Northtide Naples RV Resort in Naples FL. We booked our stay five months in advance, with a scheduled arrival of December 31st. Our primary motivation for traveling from Minnesota was to escape the harsh winter and spend four months enjoying the resort’s advertised amenities, especially the pool and community center.Upon our arrival, we were dismayed to discover that the pool was under construction, and the community center was also unavailable. At no point during the five months between booking and arrival were we notified of these major disruptions. We feel that this lack of communication is unacceptable, as these amenities were a significant factor in our decision to stay at the resort. The proposed solution to use a pool at a nearby Marina, which is a mile and a half away, was not a reasonable substitute, especially considering the convenience and atmosphere we expected at the resort itself. When inquiring about the timeline for the pool’s reopening, we were told it would be “just a few more days.” However, throughout our entire 1 month stay, we did not see any workers or signs of progress in the pool area, further diminishing our trust in the information provided. As a result of the unavailability of key amenities and the lack of transparency, we made the difficult decision to book the rest of our stay—three months—at a different resort that offers the amenities we believed were available based on the Northtide Naples website. This change has led to added costs and inconvenience that we would not have incurred had we been properly informed. We believe compensation is called for due to the absence of communication about the unavailable amenities and the extra expenses we now face. We asked the resort for a fair adjustment to our charges or a refund for the period during which the amenities were inaccessible, as well as for the inconvenience and added costs incurred because of this situation. We were told that they would NOT provide any refund but would give us a credit that would have to be used within one year. NOT acceptable. After the owner responded and advised us to contact the resort directly….. one month later, the answer was still the same (and we had to reach out to them again and again); A credit to stay there again within the next year. Why would we want to stay there after they totally misrepresented their amenities? 2 1/2 months after we initially checked in and we were just told again today (3/13) that they are still NOT working on the pool.
Great park. Everyone was very sociable and helpful. Location very good. Right off airport road that makes it easy to get round a lot of Naples.
We only had one night to stay, but they rolled out the red carpet. From the very beginning everyone was friendly, welcoming and accommodating Gave options on the most accessible sites and helped guide getting parked. Went above and beyond to help us not have to unhook for the night.
This is our home during the winter months. The people in the park are pretty awesome. This will be our 3rd winter and we absolutely love coming back. It's like a family reunion. Sites are nice and ample trees and flowers make it a cozy park.
