This trip did not start off well for us, which was no fault of the hotels but we did have trouble checking in because of banking issues & the holiday weekend. The front desk person wanted to help but didn't know how & the manager during our check in wasn't willing to assist at first. We suggested shortening the stay to work issues out with our bank & finally they were able to accommodate. Our room was a king suite with a balcony, & it was just okay. Did need some updates. Wall paper was peeling in places & the bathroom was very small for the size of the suite but it was very quiet & comfortable. The evening we checked in, we attempted to eat at the in hotel restaurant but weren't acknowledged so we left to another restaurant off site. However breakfast was great & super easy. The pools at this hotel were beautiful & we were able to watch 4th of July fireworks off our balcony.Overall the stay was good but not as great as expected. 4 stars.

Had an excellent stay at this location and what really stood out was the customer service. From the front desk attendants, the bellman, housekeeping to the restaurant staff, everyone was a pleasure to meet. The workers look happy and they went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. I want to send a special shout out to Nathaly who displayed both warmth and professionalism throughout our stay. The hotel ground is beautiful and the views are very calming. Perfect getaway trip when you want to unplug. The B restaurant is also very good. I ate there every day of my trip.Looking forward to visiting again!

This was our first stay at this Hilton resort and I really wish it was better. Unfortunately this property offers zero Hilton Honors recognition for any status you may carry with Hilton. If you need water to refill your water bottles beware you only have one location and that’s in the lower level at the gym. I have Diamond status with Hilton and the two girls at the front desk begrudgingly gave my daughter and I two bottles of water and acted like they were doing us a favor. Never mind it’s a guaranteed benefit with Hilton Honors. A nicer touch would have been to just place the waters in the rooms for members arriving late and using digital check in.I stayed at a Marriott on the same trip and received better benefits with Silver status. I’m giving two stars because the room was clean and the staff at the pool were helpful otherwise I would not recommend staying here. I’d rate this a two star hotel instead of a three, it’s not even close.

We've been visiting family in the area for almost 30 years. We usually stay at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort, but chose Hilton Suites for the first time because we were travelling with our dog. We stayed for 4 nights over Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately, this will be our last stay at Hilton Suites. To start, we picked a room on the second floor near the stairs so it would be easier to take our dog in and out in the morning and evening. There are no stairs that exit to the first floor. All the stairwells are emergency exits with alarms. I've never stayed in a hotel with no first floor exit in 30 years of travel. The elevators are slow, especially for a 10 story building. We waited for the elevator constantly (if we could have only walked down one flight of stairs). I used the workout facility multiple days and found myself waiting for the elevator going down and up. Additionally, there was road noise and inside hotel noise. Whenever there was traffic we had to close the balcony door and that barely helped. When someone in the room next to us showered it was almost louder than someone being in our shower. Also, the balcony is simply not worth the additional cost when you overlook the road, there's no view and no seating. The air conditioning turns on and off constantly and woke us up during the night. The air conditioning also turns off when you leave the room and every time we returned, the temperature was 5 degrees warmer and the room was stuffy. Someone was smoking in a room near us and we smelled smoke almost every day. Finally, I asked if I could get a plate to go from the buffet and was told I could only order from the menu to go. I wanted to eat in my room and didn't have time to sit and eat. I was going to get one plate of food. One trip to the buffet. I wasn't trying to cheat the process. I realize almost all of our issues are not a result of the hotel staff or services which was generally fine. From what I could find online the hotel has not been renovated in over 20 years. The owners are milking the property for what they can while at the same time damaging the Hilton brand. Next time we visit and travel with our dog, I'd pay more and rent than stay here.

Drunk people outside the hotel when we were checking in, lobby defeating with people congregating. Pool is not nearly big enough for a hotel this size. Was promised in writing a room on the top floor, no go when we checked in. Pool pictures deceiving, NO pool umbrellas or umbrellas on the tables by the pool. Front desk could care less, acted like they were used to complaints and just carried on with a whatever, we’ll still be in business anyway attitude. One person wore a name tag, rest dis not. Housekeeping couldn’t understand that there were 2 double beds and 4 people registered to the room, every day 3 sets of towels. This hotel is ok at best, but beware of the above.
