OMG breathtaking!The whole hotel gives such luxury vintage vibes mixed with elegance and relaxation. The moment you walk in, everything feels so peaceful, classy, and aesthetic. The architecture and interior were absolutely beautiful definitely picture perfect everywhere 📸✨And the spa experience!! Absolutely exceptional. The massage was honestly one of the BEST massage experiences I’ve ever had. So relaxing, calming, and refreshing. I left feeling like a whole new person 😭✨ The staff were also super professional, sweet, and welcoming the entire time.The hotel itself was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Everything about this place felt luxurious and relaxing.The scenery and atmosphere around the resort were also stunning. Such a perfect getaway spot if you want to relax, recharge, and treat yourself.1000% recommend if you love elegant hotels, spa days, relaxing vibes, and aesthetic luxury experiences 💆‍♀️✨

Nice luxury resort. You will have a lengthy walk up the stairs to get to your suite/room. Views of cacti and other desert plants along walkways. I ate The Breakfast Buffet and it was 7/10. They had chicken sausage ( not very good in my opinion) The Charcuterie selection was nice. Fresh fruit choices were organic strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew melons and pineapples. Roasted potatoes ( very good) scrambled eggs, bacon, heirloom vegetables, bagels and other bread options were also available. They have personal jam, ketchup, hot sauce and syrup options. The salad selection wasn’t that great! They only had a very small mixed green salad option but the maple vinaigrette was good. I love eating salads for breakfast. They also had a green vegetable juice and a smoothie option. If you like fresh made omelette, you’re in luck. Although I didn’t have one because I don’t eat eggs, the omelets look 10/10. They also have pancakes on the bar and you have the option to order fresh food if you like. The table beside mine ordered Large stacks of French Toast topped with Blueberries. It looked delicious.

My experience at this hotel was disappointing and inconsistent. The level of service varied significantly depending on which employee I interacted with. For instance, they charge an extra fee for standard tea bags like Green and Peppermint, and it took three separate phone calls just to get a clear answer while I waited for the order. While a few staff members provided excellent service, that level of hospitality was the exception rather than the norm. As an Elite member, I expected some recognition or an effort to enhance the experience, but there was none. The biggest disappointment was that a significant portion of the hotel’s amenities were closed for renovations, and the kids’ activities were only offered from Thursday through Saturday. Instead of the luxury staycation we had planned, it felt like an ordinary hotel stay with limited facilities and little value for the price.

The resort is looking very rundown and dated. Front desk didn't recognize Marriott status at all. Took 3 tries to get a room that was decent and then it still faced the lobby parking so was noisy and had zero view. First room smelled like sewer - so bad you could smell it in the hallway. 2nd room's balcony literally faced a wall. Everything was extremely overpriced - $28 for an espresso martini! Cold shower in spa didn't work and didn't have instructions on how to use. Spa services were great but very pricey - especially with the 22% required gratuity added. Food was decent but very overpriced. The tea was nice but the food was just ok. Room service delivery person was very friendly and helpful, food was hot and tasty. Pool was surprisingly a little chilly and our reserved chaise lounges were at the family pool when we had requested the adult pool. First impression was that this would be a fun place to come with friends (I was with my adult daughter on this trip). But after seeing the clientele and the prices I don't think I would return. I would try a different place in Scottsdale - though maybe Scottsdale isn't my scene.

Spent 9 days and the highlight was the exceptional service from the staff. The ballrooms are excellent and the banquet staff is on point. They never missed a beat and even helped us with moving signage around the resort. The resort is beautiful although some of the rooms could use updating. Camelback mountain as the backdrop makes it for a spectacular view. I was thoroughly impressed with my stay. Thank you!
