Vero Beach Tennis & Fitness Club
Short Description
Quick Facts
Description
Vero Beach Tennis & Fitness Club runs on 6.5 acres in the Timber Ridge community, with 14 to 15 all-new Har-Tru clay tennis courts, new lines, nets, and windscreens throughout, and a growing pickleball program that recently added new surfacing, posts, nets, and fencing, with more expansion planned. Two membership tiers cover different needs: Full Membership includes tennis, pickleball, fitness, and pool access, while Social Membership covers fitness, pool, and social events without racquet sports. A fitness room runs cardio and selectorized strength equipment, and the social calendar is active, with weekly Men’s Night, monthly Men’s Cash Night, Ladies’ Tennis & Wine Night, and Friday Night Mixers. Lessons and clinics run for all ages, from tots to seniors, and summer day camps run weekly sessions through the season. It holds a 4.6 rating across 41 Google reviews.

Vero Tennis & Fitness Club has been an absolute lifeline since I moved here. The clinics are genuinely fun, the staff is professional, friendly, and welcoming, and the courts are always in great shape. This place is special. They also host social events, which has made it so much easier to meet people and feel connected—this place feels like a real community, not just a club. It’s owned and run by the Van Deinse brothers and family (look up their story) and you can tell they genuinely care about consistently creating a great experience for everyone.Best part: you can try a clinic or clinics without committing to a membership, so there’s no pressure—just show up, hit some balls, and leave wondering why you didn’t come sooner. You’re going to want to join and be part of what’s going on there. If you’re new to the area—or just want a tennis home where you can improve, laugh, and occasionally pretend you meant to hit that shot—I can’t recommend it enough. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My husband and temporally I lived in Vero Beach for 17 months and I can honestly say our favorite part about living there was the Vero Beach Tennis Club. It’s a beautiful facility tucked away in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by lush palms, birds, bunnies, and very friendly people. There are several har-tru courts that offer such a nice, forgiving surface for your feet if you play a lot of tennis. The owners, Joseph and James, are super friendly, phenomenal tennis players and they always make you feel welcome, regardless of your playing ability. We didn’t take lessons, but I observed countless lessons given by Joseph and James and was so impressed by their knowledge and absolutely incredible teaching skills. I’ve played tennis all across the country and have observed countless lessons by various teaching pros....none compare to the teaching ability and enthusiasm of J &J! If we ever return to Vero, we won’t hesitate to join this club again.
The best club in the area with great teaching pros in Joseph and James. The nighttime tennis is excellent too with their new lighting system.
Well what my house blew away in the Florida Keys I sold it and came up here and found this place so I bought it and I enjoy it as my second night here so I'm very happy as you can tell a nice and snuggled up in my bed
We had a great stay in the resort. A variety of activities to do besides play tennis. Also has a fitness room with lots of equipment.
