Dropped by the Santa Barbara and (newly opened) Ventura locations. Both had exceptional customer service and a very wide selection of items. I was able to test out paddles I’ve seen online!Aside from paddles, they carry shoes, over grips, edge guard, hesacore grips, socks, and balls from pretty much every brand. They also have a $10 2 day rental program with a plethora of options.Ended up getting lucky and purchasing a Gearbox Pro Control for 70% off, along with balls, a Fluid True Shot limited edition, Selkirk S1s, Vulcan Vpro Flights, Hesacore grips, BODHI overgrip and edgeguard all for a wonderful price.Thank you SB Pickleball Shop, will be sure to visit again when in town!*Shoutout to Ale!

Zac was so helpful! We came to visit from Bakersfield and were so excited to check out all the paddles. He was great, informative, and helped us pick out the perfect ones! He even retapped our paddle! Will be coming back!

On my first visit, Carlos looked at my old paddle and, based on our conversation, selected 2 demo paddles for me to try. I paid a reasonable deposit which could be applied to a future purchase. I tried a new CRBN and a Joola 16 mm model..Each paddle had some good points, but overall they didn’t feel right to me. When I returned the paddles to Ty, I asked him about the Joola Anna Bright Scorpeus Pro IV 14 mm paddle. The shop didn’t have this demo paddle available. Ty callled me a few days later when one became available. Ty set it aside and I picked it up on Labor Day, when SB Pickelball was closed, from the adjoining soccer store. My name was on it and the clerk had been informed I was coming in. I was able to play with the Joola the following day at Muni. It was perfect! I returned the demo paddle to the store and purchased a new one at a discounted price from Carlos’.However, none were in stock at either the SB or Ventura store. When I called back a few days later, Ty set my new Joola paddle aside for me. I went to the shop and Ty expertly helped me complete the product registration. Ty installed a grip and tape, color of my choosing, for free. Thank you Ty for great communication and great service. I recommend purchasing your pickelball equipment from Santa Barbara Pickelball.
