Musco is a global sports and large-area lighting company based in Oskaloosa, Iowa, designing and installing permanent and temporary LED systems with design, installation, remote monitoring through Control-Link, and long-term warranty support. It is a partner of USA Pickleball, with the partnership logo on its homepage.

Pickleball is a project category in its portfolio, anchored by the Opelika Pickleball Facility case study in Alabama: a venue that grew from 12 courts at opening to 33, with 24 covered and 9 outdoor. Musco supplied its TLC for LED luminaires to minimize glare and spill, SportsCluster mounting on existing structures, and the Light-Structure System outdoors, engineered to 50 horizontal foot-candles with tight uniformity for competitive play and backed by a 10 year product assurance program.

The facility went on to host a USA Pickleball Golden Ticket event with over 400 athletes, and the city’s parks director credits Musco’s understanding of a project few in the country had attempted.
