We’re from MS and love to visit parks everywhere we travel to. The park has a good size parking lot and 2 large pavilions with 5+ different picnic tables, there is also 5+ individual picnic tables and benches throughout the park. The pavilions have several security cameras. Even with the snow/ice the park has been well kept. There is an adult workout area as well. The park playground has so many unique parts to it that my son really enjoyed. We will definitely save this location for any future travels to NJ.

This is a massive park that is well kept! Multiple playground areas, small splash pad, tot lot, pickle ball courts, tennis courts, bike (bmx style) area to ride on. There is a small pond with a fountain, great walking areas that are paved and mostly flat. Many shaded areas and baseball fields.

I've been going to Fasola Park in Deptford for almost 20+ years, and it changed dramatically from what it use to be in the late 90's. Located at 12 Sycamore Lane in Deptford NJ 08096, back then the park did not even had an address, it had a sandy playground with spinners, carousels, merry-go-cycle and metal horses, stuff like that, a community swimming pool that later on was demolished and covered, it was approximately where the pickleball field is, it also had a kiosk or small shop with food and refreshments back then that got vandalized; the good ole 90's. Now the park it is well kept and modernized, it features walking trails, a large playground with modern outdoor equipment for all ages, picnic tables for outdoor gatherings, tennis and pickleball courts, a kids splash pad that operates in the summer, athletic fields and even a BMX track for biking, restrooms, gazebos, plenty of parking areas. The picnic area can also be reserved for birthday events and/or other family or group events, just contact the township for more info. The Park also have plenty of events over a year, like: summer movies in the park, earth day cleanups, Easter Egg Hunt, shared day events, Deptford Day, lots of food trailers and other merchants, just visit the Deptford TWP website or Gloucester County Nature Club. The park have some security cameras placed mainly on the location of facilities and structural features that have high volume of traffic. My personal opinion and hence use over the years is the trails on the wooded area, great for hiking, jogging or running, the lake for fishing and relaxing, the overall natural beauty as the forest and trees changes colours with the season, also house for some cool wildlife, lots of birds in the woodland such as red cardinals, woodpeckers, blue jays, ducks or mallards, geese, red tail and other hawks, and at night also great gray owls, lots of turkeys sometimes, rabbits, foxes, deer (watch for ticks). Fishing there was never disappointing, it is catch and release only as it should be, great place to start teaching/learning for kids and adults to fish and value the land and the waters. Got bluegills sunnies, pumpkin seed sunnies, yellow perch (rare), plenty of smallmouth bass. Just be aware of turtles, there is a lot of them in the lake and sometimes it gets hooked up, so be aware of that, and be gentle and careful releasing the fish and the turtles back in the lake, be respectful of our natural resources for other generations to enjoy. Also, please clean up after yourself, don't let trash behind, there are plenty of trash bins or receptacles, and don't feed the birds or fish, most human foods are harmful for birds and fish.

Great park to take your kids and there is a workout for you as well if your into that while the kids play!! They also have a splash pad in the summer time! Best park as my daughter is concerned !

Great park! It has a few play areas of different age groups but I think most kids of any age could play except some of the play areas may be difficult for children under two. There is a little play area for smaller children as well. I really enjoyed the musical play equipment and there was a huge jungle gym climbing area in the center which is quite challenging for kids that want something a little bit more difficult and also have an athletic energy. There is a walking track and also a tennis court there. I think that out of all of the parks compared to Washington Lake Park, this would be my second favorite on the list of great parks.
