Erne makes a pickleball ball machine controlled through a smartphone app. The machine holds up to 150 balls, throws at speeds from 10 to 65 mph, and comes loaded with preset drills that can be customized in the app; its oscillation happens inside the housing rather than by turning the machine. The company behind it, Victory Sports Technologies, is based in North Wales, Pennsylvania and was started by pickleball players. The machine is sold through the brand’s own online store and through pickleball retailers, and ships nationwide with a warranty on the unit.
