Double Eagle is a specialty pro shop in Bradenton, Florida serving two fast growing sports under one roof: disc golf and pickleball. On the pickleball side the store carries paddles from brands like Diadem along with balls and accessories, and runs a paddle demo program so players can try before committing. The disc golf wall is among the area’s deepest, which makes the shop a fun crossover stop for households that play both. The store sits on Manatee Avenue West near GT Bray Park, one of Bradenton’s busiest pickleball hubs, and keeps retail hours seven days a week with online ordering available through its site. The business has been rebranding toward the Double Eagle Sports name.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I stopped by Double Eagle Disc Golf for the first time today after recently moving to the Bradenton area, and I was seriously impressed. The selection alone is worth the visit. They have a huge variety of discs, including a lot of really unique stamps and prints that I haven’t seen anywhere else. They also have an awesome used disc section, which is great if you’re trying to try different molds without spending a fortune.Discs were priced right in line with — and sometimes even better than — what you’d find from most online retailers, which is awesome to see from a local shop. One of the coolest features in the store is their throwing simulator. It lets you actually test your throws and see real feedback on how the disc flies, which makes it much easier to get a feel for different discs before you buy them. It’s a really unique setup and something you don’t see in many disc golf stores. What really made the experience great though was the staff. Everyone there was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about the sport. They took the time to talk with me about the local disc golf scene, recommended some great courses nearby, and even told me about upcoming events in the area. You can tell this shop really cares about the local disc golf community. Between the great selection, the awesome simulator, the big used disc inventory, and the super knowledgeable staff, it’s easily one of the best disc golf shops I’ve visited. If you’re anywhere near Bradenton and into disc golf, this shop is absolutely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be back.
Found these guys on UDisc. Honestly, this store should be paired with anyone playing GT Bray for the first time; it's not more than 8 mins from the course. Ryan is awesome, he asked what I was looking for and he spent 45 mins emptying the racks with everything he had for my needs. The used rack is a gem, definitely don't miss that. 8 discs, $150 all day, most expensive was $25. Highly recommend, will be back!
I stopped by to pick up a couple of gifts and Ryan gave me a lesson with the TechDisc right on the spot. Amazing! I’m going back.
A Great store for the Disc Golf enthusiast, simulator net, many many disc's, and accessories. They now have good selection of quality pickleball paddles, and accessories. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Great selection and paired with people that know what they’re talking about, what more could you ask for? Almost passed out checking out the selection and the simulator. I’d say how but check the shop out and find out for yourself! Super friendly staff
