Description
Deaf Pickleball USA is the governing and rule setting body for pickleball in the Deaf community in the United States, promoting the development, growth, and competition of the sport for Deaf players. The organization grew out of the first National Deaf Pickleball Tournament, held in Encinitas, California in 2021, when a task force was formed at the tournament banquet to establish a national 501c3 Deaf pickleball organization, guided by a consultant with three decades of experience running the National Racquetball Association of the Deaf. The organization runs national tournament competition and serves as the home for Deaf pickleball players, officials, and organizers across the country.
