The Pleasanton, California, office of Alexander Chiropractic and Wellness is part of a multi-location East Bay and Central Valley chiropractic group whose site includes an original article on how chiropractic care helps pickleball players stay in the game. The article describes chiropractic adjustments and targeted exercises for recovering from the sport’s common shoulder and elbow injuries, including elbow strain and rotator cuff issues, and for preventing future strain. The group’s listed doctors include Dr. Matt Alexander. This office is on Koll Center Parkway in Pleasanton.
I cannot say enough incredible things about Cammie Cavros. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in the hands of someone who genuinely cares, listens, and goes above and beyond for her clients.I originally came in dealing with ongoing stomach issues that had been frustrating and difficult to manage, and Cammie has been absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. She takes the time to really understand what’s going on, explains everything in a way that actually makes sense, and creates a personalized approach that makes you feel confident you’re finally on the right path. What sets her apart is how invested she is in your results. This isn’t a quick, transactional visit—she truly cares about your health and progress. Every session I leave feeling better, more informed, and honestly just grateful that I found her.
This is clean and welcoming place with great atmosphere. The front desk staff is incredibly helpful and greets with warmth. April is outstanding with deep tissue massage, truly one of the best. I have had 4 chiropractic sessions with Dr. Kuang and already felling 20% better. Forwarding to continue massage and chiropractor sessions to see more progress.
Warm and friendly environment and Staff . They are here to work their hand in aid to help repair and relax your mind and body . They are so helpful in educating you were your areas of concern are and tailored your treatment as well as scheduling . Thank you I’m finally getting on the healing path . I am looking forward to the outcome of relief from my injury of hip , lower back , and sciatica pain .
Dr Powell ignored my current injury/complaint and immediately tried to up-sell me on a 3 month course of action (twice a week treatments) addressing my overall spine health, stating that much of it was not covered by insurance. His first priority was to take unnecessary x-rays ($revenue) after I had shown him my Orthopedic surgeon's report regarding some disc issues. He never attempted to diagnose, or explain, my current pain/injury and contradicted himself whether or not his treatment would remediate my condition or restore my overall spine health. He may be an effective practitioner but he lost credibility with me when he appeared to prioritize business $ over my health. I gave 2 stars as the office ladies were super helpful and welcoming.
I visited Alexander Chiropractic in Pleasanton for shoulder and lower-back pain and initially signed up for 12 sessions. The front desk staff were consistently warm, helpful, and easy to work with when rescheduling. The center itself is clean, hygienic, and has a positive atmosphere. The doctor was friendly and easy to talk to.On the first day, an X-ray was taken of my lower back but not of my shoulder, which was actually my main concern. The adjustment that day lasted about 5-8 minutes. The following sessions (2–5) were generally only about 4-6 minutes each.Despite the good environment and staff, I didn’t experience any improvement in my shoulder or lower-back pain after several sessions, so I decided to stop after the fifth visit. I understand that chiropractic care may require time, but I expected at least some level of relief after multiple treatments. The consistently short duration of each session also left me questioning whether the adjustments were sufficiently thorough or appropriately targeted for my issues. From a cost perspective, the experience didn’t feel justified. Between my copays and the amount billed to my insurance, the outcome felt like wasted money since there was no noticeable progress. What I recommend? It really doesn’t matter whether you take my recommendation or not; do whatever you feel is best for your situation. My experience may not reflect yours, but this is an honest account of how it went for me.
