Pickleball guests can reserve four heated indoor tournament-grade courts in advance, with paddles and balls included. Hotel guests play without a court fee, while the public can book paid court time or open play through CourtReserve, and weekly clinics are offered. The property is a boutique hotel in Kenmore, Washington, within Saint Edward State Park. Other amenities include a spa, dining, and park trails.
A unique boutique hotel set in a national park, beautifully restored from a former Catholic seminary. The renovation preserves history while creating a calm, elegant space.Only 20 minutes from Seattle, yet it feels like a true escape — quiet, peaceful, and grounding. Clean rooms, comfortable king bed, great shower, good coffee, and convenient parking. The staff is attentive but unobtrusive, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The only small improvement I’d suggest is crisper bedding presentation. Also, keep in mind the kitchen closes after 10 PM (bar for drinks only).Overall, a special place to slow down and reset. I would definitely return.
We had a great stay here! The staff was friendly, helpful and the rooms are well appointed. The hotel is beautiful with several gallery areas, a cozy library with games and books for use as well as many other amenities to make your stay even better. The location is peaceful and immerses you in nature. We look forward to coming back and taking advantage of the many activities available. There are two bars that serve drinks and light bites plus a full service restaurant. We only ate at the bars this time but the food was very good. This is a fabulous place for a romantic weekend or just a quiet get away that allows you to appreciate the beauty of the area.
How did a few snafus, but overall enjoyed my stay. We booked a king and they gave us a Queen and beyond that. The rooms were incredibly small. Like barely room to walk around the bed. There was no fridge and the ice came in baggies. We were told there was a sauna and hot tub, but in fact, there is not. Just a sauna in their spa that you can pay forty dollars for 30 minutes. The food and drinks were good, but the service in the upstairs restaurant on our last day was atrocious.Waiting 20 mins and having to ask for our check twice. The grounds, however, were really quiet and enjoyable. Without door volleyball, your games and an enjoyable walk down to the water. Massages and spa services were top notch and their tea was amazing.
This property is well kept and is on a beautiful grounds. It is built on a lovely state park and there are many trails to take of varying intensity. The lodge also has a pickle ball court, which is well kept and fun to play with. The onsite restaurants are decent and often have live music. The rooms are large and comfy and befitting the overall look of the campus which is grand.
I’m only writing this review because I realized that I only speak up during my one and five star experiences. I’m giving this place 3 stars because I live relatively close to it. Therefore, everything should be relatively consistent. I haven’t eaten at the new restaurant. I adore the Lady of the Lake statue. This is my first three Star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ post.
