Zip City Indianapolis
Short Description
Quick Facts
Description
Zip City Indianapolis has run as an indoor entertainment complex on Bluff Road for roughly eight years, historically home to zip lines, a trampoline park, laser tag, rock climbing, and mini golf. The entertainment side of the complex is closing, a casualty of financial pressure the business never fully recovered from after COVID-19. Critically, the company has stated explicitly that it has no plans to close its newer pickleball program, which added 9 dedicated courts offering drop-in play, open play, professional lessons, leagues, and tournaments, run through the CourtReserve app. Drop-in sessions run $10 per person for a two-hour block, or courts can be reserved at $25 an hour. Instructor Steve Farley, described locally as one of Indy’s busiest pickleball coaches, runs advanced clinics for players who’ve plateaued in the 2.5-3.5 range.
