I visited this gym while researching fitness centers in the area, and unfortunately, it left the worst impression of all the options I considered. The gym seems confused about its positioning. It charges premium prices similar to Lifetime Fitness, with high membership fees, initiation fees, and even $15 just to use a massage chair. However, it doesn't offer the premium experience that would justify those costs. At the same time, Planet Fitness, located just a short distance away, offers memberships starting around $15 per month. The facility itself felt dark and uninviting, and the staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming. What concerns me most, though, is reading multiple reviews from customers who say their accounts were sent to collections over membership disputes or missed payments. That seems like an unnecessarily aggressive approach. Unlike businesses that incur ongoing costs for every customer, a gym already knows who is actively using the facility. Most subscription services, such as Netflix or Apple, simply suspend your access if you stop paying rather than immediately sending your account to collections.Overall, between the high prices, lackluster atmosphere, poor customer service, and concerning billing practices, I would not recommend this gym. There are much better fitness options nearby that offer greater value and a more customer-friendly experience.
I joined this gym based on a friend's referral and initially had a positive experience. I also invested in private training sessions, which were quite expensive. Unfortunately, things quickly went downhill when trainers repeatedly failed to show up for scheduled private classes, causing me to lose both time and money. When I raised these concerns with the front desk, I was assured that my membership cancellation would be handled. After which I have not stepped into this gym once. However, months after that conversation, the gym continued charging my credit card. I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charges. They informed me that payments through February would be honored because they fell within the required notice period, and I agreed to pay those amounts.Despite this resolution, I later received a notice from a debt collection agency claiming that my account was overdue until June. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and continued billing after cancellation have made me lose all trust in this business.I would strongly caution others before signing up. Based on my experience, this gym's business practices are unacceptable, and I intend to share my experience to help others make an informed decision.
I have been a member of the club for over 20 years. I always take and small towel and large towel and one by one return them after use to their machine. By the way the towels are no longer white but grey and flimsy. Just about every six to eight weeks I get a $10 charge on my credit card saying I did not return a towel which I know I do because I count each one before I return it. If they are going to charge you it should be on their contract. Which it is not. Also the machine should tell you when you take them how many are logged out and when you return them it should display how many came back. Before charging a member for a towel management should call the member to discuss not immediately charge their credit card. They should also review the members track record of how many are taken and returned each time. When you call the front desk about it. They say you have to call into the office which can take days before anyone gets back to you. While the front desk people are very nice I am really frustrated and tired of how management treat members pertaining to this machine.
it’s a really nice gym. membership itself is like $95. lots of things to do in the gym, it’s incredible. there’s a room for tennis, they even have a nice spa at the entrance of the gym. just wish there were more female personal trainers. the hot tub is lovely too.
been to the gym once, signed up, told them i moved and i need to cancel they call every single day and email for me to update my pay method even after cancelling, two months after i’ve cancelled. why do i need to pay for a second month? i understand the first month sure, but a second? i was also told initially the price was $80, but when signing up its $100 a month + $22 “service charge” every month?
