The people are friendly without being intrusive, the equipment is well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere makes consistency feel natural. The staff is great, and I especially want to recognize Hunter Faber for the level of expertise he brings.I was looking for a personal trainer to help with lower-body strength and glute development, and after careful consideration, I chose Hunter based on the depth of his credentials — it was the right decision.Hunter holds 18 certifications, and his approach reflects it: current, precise, and highly individualized. Training with him is deliberate and well-structured, with clear reasoning behind every adjustment. Beyond the session itself, he provides meaningful guidance on recovery and nutrition, so progress doesn’t stop when the workout ends. He’s an excellent choice for anyone seeking thoughtful, high-quality coaching.

I’ve been a member here for 3 years, and while the yoga, Pilates, pool, and cardio areas remain excellent—supported by a fantastic staff—the recent "renovations" to the weight and recovery area have been a major step backward.About five months ago, the layout was changed, and it has since become unsafe to use some equipment.. Previously, the floor was organized and functional and every dumbbell was on a rack. Now, dumbbells are left on the floor rather than racks, pulley machines are jammed so close together they are hard to use, and barbell benches have been placed in high-traffic walkways where people have to squeeze by while in use.I’ve spoken with trainers who acknowledge these safety concerns and have shared them with management, but nothing has changed. If you’re considering joining, please tour during peak hours to see the chaos for yourself. You’ll see members carrying heavy weights across the gym just to find space. For the price point of Greenwood, the current layout feels more disorganized than a budget gym like 24 Hour Fitness.

I expected a typical noisy fitness center, but this place actually feels comfortable enough to focus. Group workout area has good space and people don’t constantly record videos everywhere, thankfully. Music volume could be slightly lower during evenings, though the overall environment still feels motivating and respectful.

I have been working with Club Greenwood Trainer Hunter Faber for several weeks and he has been fantastic to work with. He creates targeted exercises for the area where I tore my hamstring and I am already feeling much stronger. Hunter is very knowledgeable about physiology and will customize a program to fit your unique needs and goals. The gym has been very overcrowded during our sessions (most I've seen since I joined almost 7 years ago) but he always finds a way to navigate the space and equipment.

I’ve been a member at Greenwood for over 20 years and the club continues to improve and stay up the latest and greatest equipment, classes, etc. The people and trainers are friendly and helpful. I recently trained a few times with Hunter Faber, who is outstanding! I was getting bored and in a rut with my usual workouts and he introduced me to new exercises and techniques.
