Description

TPS Sports+Fitness is a family-owned gym and training facility at 8300 Wolf Road in Willow Springs, Illinois. The owners got their start in 2005 with The Perfect Swing batting cages in Darien and took over the former Score Sports Center in 2023, renaming it TPS. Inside you’ll find indoor pickleball alongside free weights, cardio equipment, group fitness classes, three full-size basketball courts, baseball tunnels, and a sauna and steam room. Pickleball shows up on the class schedule too, so newer players can learn in a structured setting before joining open play. Members rate it 4.4 stars across 59 Google reviews. Doors open at 7 AM on weekdays and 8 AM on weekends, with evening hours through 9 PM Monday through Friday.

The diversity of offerings here is truly impressive, from strength training and group classes to individualized coaching, there’s something for everyone regardless of experience level. The facility is consistently clean and well-maintained, which speaks volumes about the pride the ownership and staff take in the space. The team is welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in the members’ success. That culture carries over to the members themselves, friendly, hardworking, and supportive of one another. One of the greatest aspects of TPS Sports + Fitness is the strong sense of community. This isn’t just a place to work out; it’s a place where people connect, encourage each other, and pursue growth together. As a physical therapist, and founder of Mission CHANGE PhysioTherapy, it’s an ideal environment for me to provide care. I’m able to collaborate, educate, and support individuals in a setting that reinforces healthy movement, performance, and long-term wellness. It’s a privilege to serve people in a space that aligns so well with my mission.

Facility is Awesome, Always clean, has a nice environment. The owners and employees are super friendly and always willing to help. The trainers Reggie and Luke are great, as well as the DPT Michael.Reggie is very smart about athletic movements making you more explosive/stronger in your sport, if you’re an athlete you should definitely work with him. Luke is great for general fitness and if you want to be the best version of yourself, you will move better, and have a better quality of life. Michael is great for anyone who is recovering from an injury/surgery and wants to regain lost movement and rage of motion from the injury, so they can get back to their former self. This gym is great would recommend for anyone who is looking for a top notch place to improve their life!

Excellent facility. Great assortment of programs. However, they need to put more effort into maintaining a safe parking area. There is zero signage and very faded lane marking at the entrance area by the TPS sign. Due to this, during busy events, exit lanes are often completely blocked by parked cars.. so a single entrance lane must be used by cars both entering and exiting the lot. Would you consider putting some form of barricade (A-frames with long 2x4 across them, or updating street line painting (adding signage) so patrons know they cannot park immediately next to your TPS sign? The lane immediately to the North of the TPS sign must stay clear as an entrance lane, and the lane immediately South of the TPS sign must stay clear as an exit lane. I witnessed the bad accident with significant damage during Friday night basketball this winter when a guest had to try exiting in the entrance lane. The cars in the entrance lane had even pulled into the grass to try to provide more room, but it’s just not sustainable and needs attention as listed above or an employee working outside to ensure no illegal parking and that both critical lanes stay clear in full.

(Editing review # stars to give more stars based on the facility itself rather than the fact that cars get tickets in their lot, that said the facts below stand) Beware of this place if you drive a Tesla without a front plate. Which is approx 90% of all teslas I’ve seen as there is no real mount on the fronts of Tesla. Every Tesla that doesn’t have a front plate gets ticketed. The police leisurely pull in and walk car to car handing out tickets while you are inside watching your kids basketball game. Can police even patrol private property and write tickets? No clue but happens every time we are there. Beware. As for facility, pretty cool place but the concession food was not great. I’ve never seen hot dogs that were gray before. All in all a decent place for bball tourneys. I’d pass on the hot dogs.
