Upper Dublin Sports Center in Ambler, Pennsylvania runs one of the area’s longest standing pickleball programs, branded The Pickle Zone. The center, a tennis facility at heart, has hosted pickleball for more than five years and held its first USTA pickleball workshop back in 2018. Today the program includes supervised open play at fifteen dollars for two hours, seasonal court rental contracts in fifteen, twenty, and thirty week blocks, tournaments, round robins, and kids pickleball. Play runs on converted tennis courts indoors and out, so conditions stay consistent year round. Hours stretch from early morning to late evening most days, and the front desk can walk newcomers through the current open play and rental schedule.
