A Hidden Gem for 55+ RV Travelers We stayed one night at Surf Signature RV Resort on our way home from the Florida Keys and immediately wished we had planned a longer stay. This beautiful 55+ resort offers an impressive variety of amenities and has a welcoming, resort-style atmosphere.Our Legacy Site (#279) was easy to find and back into, with a level concrete pad, a nice grassy area behind the site for our dogs, and a pleasant location near the pond and pickleball courts. We were set up within minutes and headed straight to the pool.The pool area was one of the highlights of our stay. The large infinity pool is absolutely beautiful, and the hot tub was a great place to relax after a long travel day. We also enjoyed visiting with Kim, the bartender, who was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. Being able to charge drinks directly to our site was a nice convenience.The only hiccup during our stay was arriving after the office had closed and not receiving information about the gate key fob ahead of time, which made entering the resort a little confusing. Once inside, however, everything went smoothly.This is a large, well-maintained resort with outstanding amenities, and it's easy to understand why it is so popular with seasonal residents during the fall and winter months. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return. Next time, we'll plan for several days instead of just one night!

Reservation person Lori was a pleasure. Check-in staff extremely nice. Resort is very nice and well maintained. Pool is large and nice. However, ZERO enforcement of rules at the pool. People are vaping despite signs. Someone was in the pool chewing tobacco and spitting in a cup. There are a number of young people at the pool. There was a young couple with an infant changing a diaper on a lounge chair. GROSS!

Let's start by saying, the staff is amazing, helpful, professional and understanding. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. Great location and large comfortable sites, especially for large rigs. Looking forward to visiting for our third time!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Stay at The Surf RV Resort – 27 Amazing Nights!We spent 27 nights at The Surf RV Resort in Palmetto, Florida, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience!The resort is very well organized and beautifully maintained. The bathrooms and laundry rooms are always clean and spotless, which makes a big difference during a longer stay.There’s always something happening here. Food trucks come frequently, and the resort organizes various events and activities that really bring the community together. They even have their own app where you can check daily activities and stay updated — such a great touch!One of the highlights for us was the pickleball courts. It’s a wonderful place to meet amazing people and enjoy great games. The staff and overall service are truly outstanding — friendly, professional, and always helpful.We also really appreciated that trash is picked up daily right in front of your site. You don’t have to carry it anywhere or walk long distances — such a convenient service.The only small disappointment was that the tiki bar near the pickleball courts was closed in January — it would have been the perfect addition to the great atmosphere.Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations. Beautiful place, great community, excellent service. We will definitely be back!Highly recommend!

We had such a great stay at Surf RV Resort! The resort is clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. The grounds are spacious, the amenities are excellent, and the whole place has that relaxing Florida waterfront vibe that makes it easy to unwind. The absolute highlight of our stay was getting to watch a rocket launch right from the resort. Seeing the sky light up and the rocket streak across the horizon over the water was unreal. It was one of those unexpected moments that makes a trip unforgettable. Everyone stopped what they were doing just to watch — such a cool experience. If you're looking for a laid-back getaway with beautiful views and the chance to catch something incredible like a rocket launch, this is definitely the place.
