Description
Pickleballerz opened in 2020 as Northern Virginia’s first dedicated indoor pickleball center in Chantilly, running 6 climate-controlled courts on outdoor-style cushioned surfacing with consistent lighting. Programming spans a four-course Learn to Play pathway (Pickleball 101 through 401) created by PPR-certified coach Lisa Rieve, who has introduced thousands of Northern Virginia players to the sport, alongside Director of Pickleball JD Almond’s leagues, clinics, and DUPR-rated official play. A newer Play Lab program uses video and AI insights in small guided groups to help players see and improve their game. The facility includes a comfortable player lounge with snacks and drinks, a private party room for birthdays and corporate events, a pro shop with expert paddle fitting and free regrips on grip purchases, and loaner paddles and balls for newcomers who don’t need to be members to play. Open seven days a week, it holds a 4.8 rating across 73 Google reviews.

Had a great time playing here! The courts are well-maintained and the facility is always clean. Staff are friendly and helpful - they made it easy to drop in and play. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a solid pickleball spot in the area.
Pickleballerz is AMAZING for three very simple reasons: The Facility: it is the only one of its kind in the area. It is clean, indoor, well-lit, professionally equipped, and purpose-built. The Staff: everyone on the Pickleballerz team is incredibly friendly! Beverly, JD, Matt, Gage - the list goes on. They are so incredibly kind, helpful, and genuinely want you to have a great time! The Experience: the lessons, pick-up, and gameplay are a blast thanks to the environment Pickleballerz has created for players of all skill levels to enjoy.
Love, Love, Loved it. Uber’ed 30 min from Arlington/DC area. Great organized open play from 8:30am - 11:30 am weekdays. Website easy to access and confirm times or rent courts. The people playing are excellent sports and very welcoming. They took me under their wing and got me with the right skill level so games were fun. A thousand thank you’s. $10 admission.
Nice facility. A little short-staffed, especially up front. DUPR events take too long to get posted. With pickleball facilities popping up weekly, you need to provide the best service to compete and win back players.
I really wanted to like Pickleballerz, but the experience here has been consistently disappointing. The biggest issue is the complete lack of rule enforcement on the courts. A handful of players dominate the courts, form closed-off cliques, and refuse to rotate others in. They act superior and openly ignore or dismiss anyone they think isn’t at their skill level. They only rotate among themselves, ignore people who are waiting, and make new or casual players feel embarrassed for even being there. What makes it worse is the lack of involvement from the staff. Instead of encouraging a friendly, inclusive atmosphere, the club seems to let these groups run the courts however they want. What’s even funnier (and honestly sad) is that some of the staff actually play with this group… and still do nothing about this culture. It feels more like walking into someone else’s private hangout than a community pickleball club. If you're not part of their group, you’ll be waiting a long time while they play among themselves. Pickleball should be inclusive and fun — but this club allows ego and poor sportsmanship to take over. If you value your time and want an inclusive, respectful place to play, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This is not it.
