Palm Springs Tennis Courts is a court construction contractor, not a place to play: a family business headquartered in Palm Desert, founded by Terry Hedges in 1981 and now run by his son, general contractor Michael Hedges. Pickleball has become the engine of the business, from new regulation courts built to USA Pickleball standards to the tennis-to-pickleball conversions Michael has made a specialty, fitting two or four pickleball courts into a former tennis footprint with fresh surfacing, professional lines, and net installation. The company installs hard and cushioned acrylic systems, resurfaces worn courts, and adds windscreens and accessories, serving racquet clubs, resorts, HOAs, schools, and homeowners across the Coachella Valley, Inland Empire, and High Desert. It belongs to the American Sports Builders Association, and its foreman has more than thirty years with the firm.
