Pickleball guests and club members can use 17 lighted courts, including a stadium court, with hourly court bookings, clinics, private lessons, social play, and tournaments available through the courtside operation. The property is a JW Marriott resort in Phoenix, Arizona. Other amenities include two golf courses, a water park, and a spa.
We recently stayed at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge and had an outstanding experience. The highlight of the resort is definitely the pool complex. It's beautifully maintained, offers something for everyone, and never felt overcrowded despite the size of the resort. Whether we were relaxing by the water or enjoying the lazy river, it was easy to spend the entire day outside. The food and drinks exceeded our expectations. Every meal was fresh, well prepared, and there were plenty of options throughout the property. The cocktails were excellent, and the poolside food and beverage service made it easy to enjoy the day without ever having to leave our lounge chairs. What truly set this resort apart was the service. Every employee we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great stay. From check-in to the restaurants, pool staff, and housekeeping, the hospitality was consistently exceptional.Overall, the JW Marriott Desert Ridge delivered a true luxury resort experience. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with fantastic pools, great food and drinks, and top-notch service, this resort is an easy recommendation. We would absolutely stay here again.
I recently toured JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa and was thoroughly impressed. This is truly one of Arizona's premier resort destinations. The property is beautifully maintained, with stunning desert landscaping, spacious grounds, and a welcoming luxury atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The pool complex is outstanding and offers something for everyone, whether you're looking to relax, enjoy family time, or simply soak up the Arizona sunshine. We also had the opportunity to visit several of the restaurants, and the dining options were impressive, offering a variety of experiences and exceptional service. What stood out most was the attention to detail throughout the resort. The staff were friendly and professional, the common areas were immaculate, and every part of the property reflected the quality you'd expect from a JW Marriott resort.Whether you're planning a staycation, family getaway, golf trip, business conference, or luxury vacation, I highly recommend JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. It's a true Arizona gem and well deserving of 5 stars.
JW Marriott brand, in general, straddle the line between upscale and reasonable and Desert Ridge was no different. Large bathroom with separate tub and shower, spacious bedrooms with lots of sockets and USB ports, illy's coffee pods with half and half (and not fake cream). My room had a balcony with seating. It's a large property but they had elevators located all over so that they were easy and fast. A super large Starbucks and lots of meeting space. The staff is friendly and attentive. The water park is large and there are lots of pools and the property is kid friendly. Those are all the pros. The cons: in general, if you have a room around atrium it's loud because they have a lot of meetings and events there and the noise travels up. The Lazy River can look like people soup on the weekend and in general Phoenix feels like an oven in June. I had spicy tuna roll take out from Kembara which was fresh but not spicy. Tia Carmen breakfast buffet is stellar! I would take my grandchildren back there or have a celebration there. The banquet food was good, too. Oh, best of all, Desert Ridge Marketplace is in walking distance but it's too hot to walk and there is a nice Nordstrom's Rack!!! Score!
This place is great! The room was nice except the TV connectivity lagged. Internet was good on devices. Water park was awesome. Very kid friendly and chill. Toms of activities throughout the campus for both kids and adults. Dining is pricey but worth it. Not only is the food delicious but the ambiance hits the mark no matter what you choose. Staff is friendly and try their best. It’s a huge campus so I can see how it can be a challenge. Be patient with them. We had an amazing time and will be back in the future.
Our visit was incredible! It all started with our lovely bellhop, Bernard. He was so lovely and took time out of his busy day to give suggestions on what to do with the kids and other fun attractions near by. The fitness center is one of the most well equipped hotel gyms I’ve ever seen, it was truly impressive. Every single employee, from room service to the lifeguard, totally blew us away with their hospitality. Definitely will be recommending this hotel to all I come access!
