I can’t say enough great things about Hudson River Pickleball. The facility itself is top-notch—clean, well-lit, and thoughtfully laid out with high-quality courts that make every game feel professional and enjoyable. What really sets this club apart, though, is the community. The players here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned vet. It’s the kind of environment where you can show up solo and still leave having made new friends and getting in some fantastic games.A huge shoutout to staff members, who go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great experience. Their energy, professionalism, and willingness to help with any questions. If you’re anywhere near New Jersey and even remotely interested in pickleball, this place is an absolute must-visit. Great facility, great people, and an all-around awesome vibe. I’ll definitely be back!

I am writing this to warn others about the terrible management and customer service at Hudson River Pickleball. My group recently visited this facility, and from the moment we walked in, we were met with open hostility and a dismissive attitude from the owner, who was working the front desk. Despite the fact that we were paying customers, it was clear that the owner did not want us there. Instead of assisting us with the check-in process or offering guidance on the waiver forms, he was completely unhelpful. After taking our money, he used a minor oversight regarding a waiver as an excuse to kick our entire group out of the facility immediately. It felt less like a standard check-in issue and more like a targeted excuse to remove us from the premises. The atmosphere in the building felt exclusionary and uncomfortable. Given the way we were treated compared to others in the building, it was impossible not to feel that our group was being singled out based on our background. I strongly recommend avoiding this establishment. No customer should be treated with such rudeness, let alone face the discriminatory treatment we experienced here. Save your time and money and find a court that actually values its customers

You absolutely have to check out Hudson River Pickleball in Englewood, NJ! Seriously, from the moment you walk in, you know this place is top-tier; they've set up seven fantastic concrete courts that are just perfect for playing. But honestly, what makes the biggest difference is the incredible staff—they are so genuinely friendly and helpful, making the whole vibe super welcoming every time. And they thought of everything: the divider nets between courts are a lifesaver, meaning you're not constantly chasing stray balls from other games, which keeps the action going. Plus, the indoor conditions are always on point; the heating and temperature control are excellent, so you never have to worry about being too hot or too cold while you're playing. If you need to call them, it's amazing—they actually answer the phone right away, and the customer service is always prompt and knowledgeable, which is rare these days! You can tell they really care about providing a great player experience. It’s definitely my favorite spot to hit the ball because the facilities and the people are just the best combination. I highly recommend.

As someone who’s on the courts several times a week, I really appreciate how well the facility is run. The divider nets on every court make a huge difference — no lost balls, no interruptions, just clean, competitive play.Their customer service is outstanding. They answer calls from 7 AM to 10:30 PM every day, and anytime I’ve called outside those hours, they’ve always followed up the next morning without fail. It’s a level of service you don’t see often. The recent upgrade to the heating and cooling system has also made the environment so much more comfortable, especially during long sessions or tournaments.Overall, Hudson River Pickleball feels like a place that truly cares about players and the experience they’re creating. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Excellent club with great courts! Plenty of room behind the baseline and ample space for ATPs. Very reasonable pricing and good player community. They've made lots of upgrades in the last year - there's climate control which is great and high nets so very few stray balls end up on your court. The open plays are really fun and there's players spread out over various skill levels.
