I was extremely nervous going into my appointment with Amy Pope, NP, and even experienced moments of panic during the visit. From the very beginning, Amy was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive, patient, and explained everything in great detail. I truly felt heard and seen. She answered every question I had and never once made me feel rushed or like I was asking a “dumb” question.Amy took the time to go over multiple treatment options, carefully explaining each one, offering thoughtful advice, and then talking through how I felt so we could decide together what was best for me. I can’t adequately express how much I appreciate the kindness and patience she showed.I honestly can’t express how much I appreciate the kindness, understanding, and patience Amy showed me. A recent diagnosis has had me bouncing from doctor to doctor, and it’s been an incredibly frustrating and emotional process — but this was the first appointment I’ve left without crying (which honestly feels like a small miracle).Thank you, Amy, for your guidance, compassion, and for making a very hard experience feel manageable. I’m so grateful for the care you provided.

This establishment continues to racially profile people of color even as of today! The doctors choose “what they think” is wrong over what the facts say. They have a complete lack of empathy for patients of color. My family and I both have experienced this on different occasions years apart!! Shame on your company to attempt getting funds for future services when you can’t even take care of your patients in the present with referrals. They will prioritize what they want out of your pockets versus what is best for you! If you are a patient of color, I suggest you steer clear away!!! May God have mercy on all of you that work here and lack compassion!

I would love to write this review solely on the care provided but I feel that it is necessary to include wait time as a metric for success with any medical provider. Too often we experience disregard for our own time and see that providers have us waiting for 30+ minutes. In terms of wait time, EmergeOrtho is no different than the worst providers I have experienced. I arrived 5 minutes early for my 10am appointment and was brought back to the room relatively quickly. I am Writing this review from the room at 10:41am. I have been waiting for 35 minutes at this point. My last appointment was the same and I was not seen until 50 minutes after being sat in the room. I offer two recommendations, budget multiple hours for even the most basic of visits or do not visit at all.

From calling to set up the appt, arriving and being seen; everyone was courteous and friendly. And Rachel Alridge, the PA that tended to my needs was very thorough. That I totally appreciated. I went to regular Urgent Care 3 weeks prior for blunt injury on my upper arm but nothing like the tests done here (didn’t realize/remember that they could address nerve damage).. Initial x-ray of arm wasn’t supporting my symptoms, so I went to get another right there and then to be evaluated. And the PA’s hand on approach was impressive. My PCP never even held or touched my arm! Now I’m scheduled for more tests and I feel very much at ease knowing that my issues are being addressed. We’ve always taken our son there for sport injuries, now Emerge-Ortho is definitely on our minds when considering Urgent Care for us!

Don’t go here if you want anyone to actually listen to you. I had one PA tell me, “we don’t treat the abnormality, we treat the symptoms.” And another PA tell me, “only time and God can help you now.” Then, after 30 years of chronic low back pain and 6 weeks of physical therapy AT EMERGE, went in expecting a steroid injection for my lumbar only to be told, “we don’t have any notes or images for your lumbar. We’re doing a cervical injection today.” One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
