I visited today for an urgent visit after shutting my hand in a car door. Online scheduling was easy, loved that. I was seen at my appointment time, very quickly got X-rays, and only had a brief wait for the PA. Within an hour, we had a diagnosis, plan, and my finger was in a splint. Everyone was very kind and knowledgeable. Very happy with my experience!

I can not recommend this place enough. Came in for knee pain. And went to an urgent care a couple of days prior and felt like they didn’t take care of me like they should after I waited for 2 hours past my appointment time..I wasn’t sure how busy they would be so I made sure to get there early so that I didn’t have a long wait. But I had no wait at all. I checked in, used the restroom and they were waiting for me by the time I was out 3 minutes later. They were friendly, checked me knee forward, backward, sideways, bent and straight, got my X-rays, gave me stretches and work to do since the X-rays didn’t reveal much. If the work they gave me doesn’t cut it, then they told me how long I would need to wait to come back to get an MRI approved by my insurance. Definitely felt seen.I was done from start to finish in less than 30 minutes. Not rushed, but taken care of.

I had a total hip replacement about two weeks ago. Dr. Bowers did a great job, and I loved NC Specialty Hosp where they take great of you. The doctor was very professional as well as his Post Op Assistant. The nurses were all very attentive. Its a great place to go especially for hip and knee replacement.

We had a weekend urgent care visit. Even as a new patient we were able to make an appointment and be see the same day. We were seen quickly and properly diagnosed and given a follow up appointment. We couldn’t have asked for better more convenient care.

- 2 STAR: poor response to calls post op - 5 STAR: creative story telling in a fu report that varies from discussion - 2 STAR: when the key detail of the discussion is reversed by an unknown team member - 10 STAR: eroding trust, withholding knowledge, creating fear between surgeon and patientSurgeon can call if they want to discuss. I'm not open to a public, canned response of "oh golly, please call us." I have. Several times. Only to be further led astray and confused about my own body and what's been imbedded in it.Total: Negative 19 STARS
