USA SHADE is a national design-build manufacturer of commercial fabric shade structures, operating since 1991 across schools, municipalities, parks, athletics, and commercial properties, with in-house design, engineering, manufacturing, and installation.

Its marquee pickleball project is the US Open Pickleball Championship Open Air Arena in Naples, Florida: awarded in December 2016 and completed in April 2017, working from an architect’s napkin sketch, with USA SHADE describing itself as the only company that could design and build the envisioned structure on the tournament’s timeline. The site quantifies the impact: the year before, Naples heat kept the US Open final’s stands to about 20 spectators; after installation the 2017 stands filled to roughly 200 fans per match. The arena is now the permanent home of the US Open Pickleball Academy and hosts tournaments year-round.
