Ballantine Park is a great place for children ages 2-12 to get that last bit of energy out before dinner or a midday workout for that busy little person in your life. The parents have been friendly and welcoming in my experience. There is some deferred maintenance that needs attention along the border of the jungle gyms. If the gyms aren't quite for your little one there are other spaces to engage in more activities or just run free.
Nice little quiet playground. Well maintained, with just the right amount of activities for my little one.
We've had our family reunions here every year for the last 10 years. The grounds are always well maintained, and there is plenty of parking. They have pickle ball courts, a playground, a baseball field. There is also a pool, though I think you may have to be a member or buy passes. There is a large covered area with tables and a kitchen area that can be rented for events. They also have bathrooms, though they need to do a better job of keeping them clean. We always enjoy having the reunions here. I highly recommend.
We stopped here on the way to our vacation destination, so that might son could stretch his legs and play a bit. He enjoyed the playground. The equipment was clean, sturdy, safe, and fun! The only thing I could ding the park on is that there were random articles of clothing lying around the park in various places. Unsure if people just left things by accident, or something else.
This place is really nice it's fun and has a river and basketball court. The playground is fun for kids any age. And some times a ice cream truck stops by. And if you get to hot you can stop at the town pool if you have a pass or money.
