Serving southern Saratoga County from Route 146, the Clifton Park, New York, office of The Bone and Joint Center is one of the orthopedic practice’s seven locations. Since 1963 the practice has provided bone, joint, and muscle care across the Capital Region, and for pickleball players it maintains a dedicated Pickleball Treatment Leaders page, membership in the Pickleball Doctors group, and the Pickleball 10 to Win program of expert-designed strength, conditioning, and stretching work for prevention and performance. The practice’s specialty-trained doctors, including Richard H. Alfred, MD, treat the spine, hand, extremities, hips, and sports injuries.
My experience with this office was nothing short of the best. The very first initial meeting with Dr. Das was very pleasant. He knew right away what he needed to do to help me. His assistant Shanti was very informative throughout the process. The nurse Matthew that called me for my pre op was so nice and helpful, even giving me personal tips. My surgery was yesterday. All of the staff was nice from check in, the nurses prepping me, in recovery to discharge and wheeling me to my car. It was a very good experience, much better than I a normal hospital setting. I like the fact that they have everything you need in one building. From seeing the doctors, pain management for injections you may need right down to PT. It’s very personable. My husband will be using this center for his partial knee replacement in the future. My surgery was on my hip and I would highly recommend Dr. Das, he is the best!
From kind receptionist to the friendly helpful woman who pushed my wheelchair to the car, the staff was professional, thoughtful, caring and cheerful throughout my experience. My daughter, who accompanied me, commented more than once about how nice and helpful everyone was. I’m sure Dr Das was wonderful, but I was asleep for most of my time with him (JK). Thank you to all for excellent service.
At a recent office visit on July 13th, when I attempted to share increases in frequency of current symptoms and new symptoms that had surfaced, I was told I was there to review results of my MRI and that there was no time for them to listen to this information, which I had written out to save time! I received no information verbally or in writing about what activities/movements I should avoid or what movements or stretches might be helpful. I was given nothing in writing explaining how my specific cervical diagnosis would effect me physically! I was not recommended physical therapy by your office. It was my neurologist who recommended physical therapy on my neck.
I have had many positive experiences at Albany Bone and Joint, and yesterday was no exception. Dr Riccio explained my upcoming procedure with clarity, patience and answered all questions. The anesthesiologist was equally as informative and helpful presenting information about my procedure so that I understood the information and was comfortable going forward. In the past I have always found the office staff and the on the floor nurses to be helpful and informative and yesterday was no exception. Thank you again Dr Riccio and I would highly recommend the bone and Joint facility, staff, nurses and doctors . Dale K
Dr. Das is fantastic, very knowledgeable, respectful, and a wonderful bed side manor. I’m so grateful to have been referred to him. The staff are exceptional. I had my surgery yesterday and I was so grateful for everyone. They were kind hearted, professional, and supportive. Being I had been in the medical field for 28 yrs and have seen much more than others, I would definitely have to say they are all the greatest of the great! Thank you everything and everyone who took care of me. Also Shanti in his office is unbelievably the best office staff I have ever had to deal with. Always on top of everything and very kind. Will always recommend for any orthopedic care.
