Such an amazing stay!! Came here for a family birthday get together. Every room is so beautiful and the beds were very comfortable! The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided and a hairdryer. Plenty of towels and such a great kitchen. The views were phenomenal never seen such a beautiful sunset. We loved the pool and all the different sports equipment was so fun and in good shape. The speakers were also such a good touch!

Had an absolutely incredible weekend at Camp David in Dripping Springs! This lodge is a true gem. The moment you step onto the expansive deck, you’re greeted with breathtaking, panoramic views that stretch endlessly across the Hill Country—perfect for breakfast or a sunset yoga session . The walking trails lead you through a fun obstacle course. The pool is tucked into a serene, private spot, making it the ultimate retreat for relaxation. And the campfire area? Massive and magical—perfect for stargazing, roasting marshmallows, playing music, and making memories. This place is an absolute dream! Can’t wait to come back!

Our family (18 people ranging in age from 74 years old down to age 8) spent 3 nights at Camp David Retreat in December 2025 for our family Christmas celebration. Our group included 4 teenagers, 2 college students, and 3 elementary age children. All 18 of us loved the property and everyone said CDR was the “perfect” place to spend Christmas together! The 10 kids enjoyed all the sports courts and equipment, especially pickleball! They hiked, enjoyed the hot tub and sauna and a few even went swimming despite the pool being unheated! Our family utilized the entire property…the log cabin Lodge, the beautiful well furnished deck on the lodge, the bunkhouse, the trails, the well equipped kitchen, the outside grills, ping pong and outdoor sport courts and equipment. The kids really enjoyed watching movies on the huge tv on the 2nd floor of the lodge too! The Lodge’s large living room was beautifully decorated for Christmas and was the perfect place for us to gather and celebrate on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. CDR was a quiet, beautiful and absolutely perfect spot for our family to gather to relax and enjoy being together for Christmas!! We all highly recommend a stay at Camp David Retreat! We would all love to go back…in any season, not just at Christmastime!

We had a fantastic stay at Camp David Retreat celebrating Paw Paw’s 80th birthday with four generations, ages 4-80. Everyone enjoyed the amenities and we found we didn’t need anything because the retreat provided everything we needed! If you’re looking to host a large group book Camp David Retreat!!

My small church was looking for a location for our weekend retreat, and there were some specific things we needed to factor in— proximity to Austin, a variety of sports and activities, comfortable sleeping rooms that could accommodate both babies and elderly folks, a large meeting space or two, and surrounded by nature. When I found Camp David online, my stomach did a little flip because this retreat venue checked off all those things . . . and then some! The pictures on the website are gorgeous, and I thought this couldn’t possibly be what it actually looks like in real life. I was wrong— and all 25 adults, 6 kids, and 2 dogs who attended our retreat were blown away by the beauty, comfort, amenities, and thoughtful touches throughout. The owners are also unbelievably accommodating and available, and they worked closely with me to ensure we had everything we needed for a successful retreat. This venue is truly special and has the most breathtaking backdrop. My one and only suggestion would be to add more lodging (so that even more people could enjoy this place together)— but, besides that, it really couldn’t be any better.
