I live in Southern Springs and will be moving 2nd quarter 2022. Just not a fit. Geographically in the south, but I'd speculate residents are 95% northern and west coast transplants. Houses are average quality and well designed for the over 55 residents. I became a widower last February, and it's better for couples and widows. Generally nice people, but at 6 p.m., it's a ghost town. Far too many activities are for residents that are sedentary. Residents whine about everything. HOA dues up by $75 (to $274) 1/1/22, and the residents are complaining big time. At completion, some 1200 residents, but a ballroom with a capacity of 160. Most every event is full within a couple of hours of the posting. Grossly undersized. Down to 1 star...Bye-Bye!
