Oaks North is one of our favorite 55-and-over communities in southern California. With over 1,900 homes and tons of amenities and social opportunities, it is quite easy to make friends here. This is an active community with a gorgeous pool and spa, pickleball courts, tennis courts and lawn bowling. For those who prefer arts, there is a ceramics and wood shop as well as a wonderfully stocked large library. An added bonus is having The Bernardo Winery with its great assortment of shops and weekly farmer's market within walking distance of many of the homes.

There's a well stocked library, woodshop, art studio, ceramic studio, pool, hot tub, saunas, pickleball and tennis courts, lawn bowling, classes in many mediums and a small gym room in this 55+ community of Oaks North.

Oaks North 1 HOA is unwilling to work with the JC Golf to clean up the Golf Course. She told me to hire an attorney and dues are $5,000 per year.
