The Sunset Park Pickleball Complex offers 24 dedicated outdoor courts, with courts 5 through 24 open to the public free of charge seven days a week during park hours of 6 am to 11 pm, per Clark County’s official page; courts 1 through 4 are held for tournament and league allocations. Open play runs first-come, first-served, with a paddle rack system on challenge courts 5 through 8, while courts 13-16 and 21-24 can be reserved for $6 per hour per court, capped at two courts and two hours, booked online or in person through Clark County Parks and Recreation. Lighted play, restrooms, water, and shaded seating serve the complex inside the 300-acre Sunset Park. Leagues and clinics run through separate county allocation.
Awesome, huge park with lots of amenities. Nice one mile walking path, pickleball courts, playgrounds, lots of grass, shade and space to play, clean bathrooms. Expect to encounter some homeless living in the park.
What a fantastic public facility! There are 24 lighted courts that are like brand new. I was there at 6:30am and people were starting to stream in. People are friendly and welcoming. There is at least one challenge court - I've attached a picture of the rules. It is not far from the strip - I paid $15 for Uber to the park. This is a very nice and roomy pickleball complex.
Great pickleball courts and we even found great challenge court games on a Saturday. Plenty of courts to drill on at the time as well. Courts are well lit, spaced and fenced. Only minus is the airplane noise from the adjacent airport.
Flew to Vegas from MT. I googled this place before arriving, thinking it would be awesome. far from it!! Of all the courts, there were only 4 that you could play in, challenge courts, the remaining were all busy by reservation! Rules were posted regarding the challenge courts and having to leave after winning twice. this didnt happen. Winners hogged the courts so there was very little play time for others. No impressed and wont return.
Great local park. Players are friendly and inviting, however, games appear to be mostly groups. Admittedly, from only a one time experience. I would still go back.
