PicklePlex of Punta Gorda is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) pickleball complex on the Florida SouthWestern State College campus in Punta Gorda, Florida. The facility has grown to 24 dedicated, sanctioned outdoor courts with tournament-level lighting and fencing between every court, including seven newer covered courts for shade and night play and a championship court built with spectators in mind. It has hosted some of the nation’s larger tournaments, including APP series events. Day to day, the complex runs open play, leagues, lessons, and memberships, with courts open daily from 7 am to 10 pm unless an event is scheduled. Amenities include shade sails, bleachers, umbrella-covered tables, restrooms, an on-site pro shop, and plenty of parking. Built on donations and run by a volunteer board, it is one of Southwest Florida’s largest dedicated pickleball facilities.
