Stopped in about 30 minutes after opening today looking to learn more about pickleball paddles and tennis rackets. The store wasn’t busy, and while there were several employees working, we spent about 10 minutes browsing without being acknowledged or offered any help.We ended up buying two cans of tennis balls, and the person at checkout was kind, but we had actually come in considering two new pickleball paddles and a racket. These are expensive purchases, and a little guidance would have gone a long way. A simple “Can I help you find anything?” likely would have resulted in a much larger sale and a much better experience.

When I ask a fellow pickleball player about equipment, I frequently get an unprompted recommendation to "Go to Micheal Lynne's shop in St Louis Park, they can help you". I've now gone there a few times and I can see why. Many on their staff are experts on the equipment and patiently spend the time to find out my style and level of play so they can steer me toward a solution that fits my game and goals. If the person does not have that level of expertise, they quickly engage a staff member who does rather than guess. In addition, they have an excellent selection of demo paddles and are generous in allowing people to use them to find that perfect fit. I am in the process of buying my 2nd paddle from them and imagine I will be a loyal customer for years.

Fantastic experience shopping for a new pickleball paddle. Their staff is very knowledgeable and helped me work through a number of demo paddles to get to the right one. Their selection of paddles is incredible, and the demo program is extensive. Highly recommend this shop for their pickleball expertise and equipment selection.

Michael Lynne's Tennis Shop is best in town. It’s small but you will have everything you need to be ready on court. The prices were very reasonable and their discounted rackets were way cheaper than online. They even string your rackets in the price included. And if you be little nice, they will throw in a free over grip too.The staff is very helpful. They listened to your questions and will recommend best. Sometimes it takes little longer to get someone to help you but that’s because the store is always busy and they never leave one customer in middle to attend another. That is actually good because you get their full attention always. Overall, I have made couple of purchases from this store and so far I was satisfied with the service.

Michael Lynne’s Tennis Shop is a fantastic spot for testing demo pickleball paddles and getting racquets restrung (ready in just half a day). They carry an excellent selection of racquets, paddles, tennis shoes, bags, and more. The staff is knowledgeable and always eager to help. Highly recommended for tennis and pickleball players alike!
