One of the nicest indoor pickleball facilities I’ve been to — and I don’t say that lightly. The moment you walk in, the vibe hits you. It’s artsy, clean, and cozy in a way that lowkey feels like how I’d want my own home to be. Everything feels intentional and well thought out, not just thrown together to be “another court.”Beyond the courts, the lounge area is a huge plus. Comfy seating, fast Wi-Fi, big-screen TVs, and a game room with classics and board games make it easy to hang around before or after playing. This spot is clearly built for community, not just quick games and dip. They’ve also got a fitness studio, sauna, and a kitchen + wine bar, which makes it perfect for events, corporate outings, or just a full-on social hang. Located in the heart of Oakland (on the better side), and it was great running into some familiar faces while our team toured the space.Hours are super convenient (8am–10pm daily), pricing is straightforward for both court bookings and open play, and the overall experience feels premium without being stuffy. If you’re looking for Oakland’s indoor pickleball social club — this is it. Courts, vibes, and community all in one place. Would 100% come back.

We LOVE this place! It’s become part of our regular routine - rain hail or shine, it’s always happening here. It’s SO great that we can play year round in comfort and it doesn’t cost the earth. The gym is a huge bonus - it’s got everything you need, plus the sauna and a lovely shower room to freshen up when we squeeze in a game or 2 and a workout before work. It’s genius that they have great coffee and breakfast options and loads of secure parking - makes our commute in so easy. We’ve yet to attend one of their wine tastings, but we hear great things from other regulars. We were happy that you don’t have to be a member, especially if you’re meeting friends there for a game or a drink. Great addition to the Oakland PB scene!

I’m loving Pickle Athletics! It’s a beautiful space for both playing indoors as well as a comfortable place to socialize or co-work or even work out in their small gym. I’ve been taking lessons from Darleen, one of their Pros, and coming in for organized games. It’s really nice to go in and play game after game and not have to wait my turn whether I win or lose. It’s clean and new and the staff is great. Highly recommend it.

I have played at this fabulous location on four occasions. So far, everything to love about this fairly new facility. The people are very nice, friendly, helpful - I saw one hostess make a latte and bring it to the court for the individual. It is very efficient for checking in and signing up online (go to the court reserve app to sign up). You can have memberships with benefits, or in my case, I signed up for the free option, so I have access for rainy days. The decor is very nice and inviting. Several "still working crowd" came and set up their laptops to work between games! They have a yummy kale salad with delicious crispy tofu. They offer a yoga/pilates mix a few mornings a week. I do like that they only have four courts - three for play and one off to the back for lessons and clinics, play when not used. On rainy days, do plan ahead. I liked that they do not overbook - 8 signed up for one court, so we played rally scoring and kept it moving (so plan ahead on rainy days). Overall, a definite 5 stars from me!
