The Tennis & Pickleball Club at Newport Beach, founded more than 50 years ago as a private tennis club and reshaped under Sean Bollettieri’s ownership since 2015, now bills itself as the world’s first private pickleball club and one of the most exclusive social-athletic clubs in Southern California. The property runs 31 championship pickleball courts and 12 hard tennis courts, plus Orange County’s only European-style red clay court, all with state-of-the-art LED lighting and most live-streamed for members to watch from anywhere.
