Description

Manker Patten Tennis Club sits on the Tennessee River in downtown Chattanooga, a member club with deep roots as the cornerstone of the city’s tennis history and a USTA Outstanding Facility of the Year honoree. Its sprawling complex of roughly twenty tennis courts now shares the property with pickleball courts, giving members and their guests both games steps from the riverfront. Professional instruction, drills, and junior programming anchor the calendar, and the Zan Guerry Clubhouse and Ginny Power Garden double as sought after event venues for weddings and banquets. The club is open daily from morning into the evening. For Chattanooga players who want pickleball inside a classic full service racquet club, this is the address.

The grounds of this place is out of control insanely nice and well kept. There are always people here looking like they’re having a great time. I’m not a member here, but I have done a triathlon with this facility opened up their doors and allow us to hang out and start our swim at this location. Funny enough I ran into Governor Lee here. The staff seems as nice in place is clearly very well maintained

Very nice facility in a beautiful location. Lots of friendly members. Offers tennis and pickleball courts both outside and indoors.

I'm mystified about the comments implying disparent treatment to "others from different backgrounds". I have been a member for 4 years and have never observed prejudicial treatment of others by staff or members. This Club is a safe place for all, and it is a welcoming and open location for all racquet ball players. Come join us for good company, fun and competition in a beautiful downtown, waterfront setting.
